Evette Davis is a Stakeholder Liaison Field representative for the Internal Revenue Service, located in Charlotte, N.C. She currently works very closely with various N.C. industries and business organizations to provide them with the educational materials, products and services necessary to promote longevity. She is the Area lead for Small Business Tax Workshops, Chambers of Commerce and Small Business Forums.
Davis started at the IRS in 1988 as a Cooperative Education student in the Compliance Division. In 1990, she joined the IRS as a Revenue Officer in Columbia, S.C. In 2005, she became a Tax Specialist in Charlotte, N.C. Davis has coordinated and promoted numerous seminars and workshops which successfully educate small business owners and industry leaders throughout N.C. Davis graduated from South Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Office Management in 1990. She embraces every opportunity to educate and communicate with organizations in the business community throughout the Carolinas.
